Behind the Struggle is a Bright Child Waiting to Read

If you are here, you might be feeling the daily exhaustion and heartbreak of watching your child struggle with reading. You’ve likely seen the tears during homework time, the frustration with spelling, and the anxiety that builds up when they have to read out loud.

You know your child is smart, capable, and trying their hardest—but the traditional classroom reading methods just aren’t clicking.

Dyslexia is not a reflection of your child’s intelligence; it is simply a different way of processing language.

To bridge the gap, “more practice” is not sufficient. What is needed is a clinical approach tailored to how the dyslexic brain works: one that is diagnostic to pinpoint exact needs, and prescriptive to target them directly.

Why I Can Help Your Family

I didn’t just learn about reading struggles from a textbook. I have spent my career inside California education systems, training coaches, and working directly with students. I hold a Master of Arts in Education-Reading and Language Arts alongside California Credentials in both Reading Instruction and Multiple Subject Teaching.

My background in Communicative Disorders allows me to understand the exact breakdown between speech, sound, and the written word.

Because of my deep commitment to local students, I was incredibly honored to receive the California State PTA Golden Oak Service Award in January 2023—the highest honor given for dedication to children and schools—as well as the San Bernardino County Multilingual Recognition Award.

Bringing Elite, Clinical Therapy to Your Doorstep

I am one of the few educators statewide to achieve the rigorous status of a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). I have also trained with the LA County Office of Education Structured Literacy Coaching Academy to coach other teachers on how to teach reading effectively.

As a member of the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), I bring the absolute gold standard of clinical reading intervention directly to your home.

As a mobile therapist, I take the stress off your calendar by driving directly to you. I proudly serve families across Rancho Cucamonga (including the Etiwanda, Alta Loma, and Central school districts) and surrounding local communities.

Let’s Transform Your Child’s Reading Journey Together

You do not have to navigate the stress of dyslexia alone, and your child does not have to keep feeling left behind. Together, we can turn those afternoon tears into moments of breakthrough and genuine confidence.

Ready to see your child thrive?

Let’s connect to discuss your child’s unique needs and how mobile therapy can fit seamlessly into your family’s routine in Fontana or Rancho Cucamonga.

Testimonials

Hear from parents about my work.

“Ms. Anderson was a great help for our son who has ADHD and is dyslexic and was really struggling to read which forced him to not want to read at all. Ms. Anderson was very patient and helped him gain the skills he needed to improve his reading. We were also really happy how she always gives us constant feedback on how he is doing. Our son loved working with her and couldn’t wait to to have his class with Ms. Anderson and now loves to read. We were very lucky to have her work with our son.”

—Brian M. 4th grade parent

“Ms. Anderson has been a blessing for our son. She not only has a heart of gold with her students, she’s so professional. I love how she has communicated with us regarding our son. I can honestly say that because of her, my son now has the confidence to read, and is doing extremely well since the first grade. It’s so nice to know how much a teacher truly cares about her students.”
